COMMUNTY CHEST | CHEFS INSTRUCTED Organization Set-ups Effect- | ed at Group Solicitation Unit Meeting. Unemployement, the city’s growth, Smproved service, greater operating ex- pense and unrepeatable gifts were cited as some of the reasons for increased subscriptions to the 1931 Community Chest, at a meeting of the group soli tation unit at the Hotel Hamilton yes- terday. Division chairmen and section chiefs received final instructions for their or-| ganization set-up in preparation for the coming drive, which will begin January | 26, lasting through a period of 10 days. | Elwood Street Presides. Edward E. Colladay, secretary, outlined solicitation plans. C. Leslie McCrae told the workers that “the Chest proposition is primarily one of salesmanship.” “Introduce sound selling methods into your solicitation and you cannot belp but succeed,” he said Joseph D.
