Dr.- Abram Simon of the Washington Hebrew Congregation was elected .presi- dent of the Jewish Religious School ‘Teachers’ Association of Virginia, Mary- land and the District of Columbia at the closing session of its second annual institute in the Eighth Street Temple yesterday_afternoon. He succeeds Dr. Edward N. Calisch, who was elected permanent honorary president.
