Charges that two internes of Emer- gency Hospital were intoxicated when | they treated Mrs. Andy Bowman of | 940 K street for shock Friday night following the death of her 9-year-old | daughter, Margaret Lloyd, who was killed in a traffic_accident, have been referred to the Executive Committee of the hospital for investigation, it was | said last night by B. B. Sandidge, superintendent. The committee will begin its inquiry at a hearing at the hospital Tuesday afterncon. The charges were preferred by sev-| eral occupants of the house where Mrs. Bowman lives. They called at the hos- pital and complained to Assistant Supt. Stoddard that the two internes who answered the summons for medical aid | for Mrs. Bowman had been under the | influence of liquor. Radio Interference to Order. | Vast sums have been spent in trying | to eliminate radio interference. Tons of literature has appeared on the sub-| ject. And yet today we find radio in-| terference actually produced and mh'o-l duced in radio traffic! In simulating actual operating conditions the radio students at the RCA Institutes are faced with a liberal dose of man-made radio | interference. Aside from transmitting | several signals simultaneously to the code tables, there is added a liberal ap- plication of interference similar to sta- e, to compjicate the reception of mes- sages. In this way students are trained | under the same general conditions as| may obtain when they are at sea, work- | ing their profession. Little wonder, | therefore, that the student of today is | found at the key of the ships trans- | mitter six months later, performing with the ease and the skill of a veteran oper- | ator. ____FOUND, vk!l)‘ can have same by jdentifying aml P‘UR LOST AN(‘\X\XS apply | Anlm-l LOST.
