Baron Joban Beck-Friis, who was sent here by the foreign office in Stockholm late in July to act as charge d'affaires for Sweden during the absence of the Minister, M. Bostrom, is a most inter- esting young man with wide experience in diplomatic affairs and with a service in his country’s forelgn corps since he graduated from the - University of Stockholm in 1912. .
