Bobby Jones and members of the American| ‘Walker Cup golf team will be broadcast in the Coca Cola program tonight over WRC and a network of other National Broadcasting Co. stations. Grantland Rice, famous sports editor, will interview Jones and the mtmbflll of his team just before they sail for) England to compete for the coveted | golf trophy. Leonard Joy's An-smng; Orchestra 1 provide a musical Betlin!i for the broadcast. The celebrated quartet of violins made by Guadagnini will be heard during the Mobiloil concert. Four members of Nathaniel Shilkret’s Orchestra will play the violins. Their number will be Beethoven's “Minuet in G.” This will be one of the features of an “orchestra night” program arranged by Shilkret. “Filles de Cadix,” by Delibes, has been chosen by Olive Palmer, soprano, as one of her solo numbers in the Palm- olive hour. Paul Oliver, tenor, will sing “Drink to Me Only With Thine Eyes.” The orchestral selections include a group of popular numbers, such as ‘'What Is This Thing Called Love” and “Lady Lucl Second Hungarian Rhapsody. Liszt's “Second Hungarian Rhapsody” gives a gypsy setting to the musical por- tion of the Halsey-Stuart program. The Chicago Little Symphony Orchestra will play this selection and several others. Aside from the musical features, WRC has scheduled the usual midweek col- lection of dramatic sketches. These are the presentation of the Wilbur Coon Players and episodes in the “East of Cario” and “Mystery House” series. The Philco hour, with Howard Bar- low and his symphony orchestra, heads the musical presentation of WMAL and associated Columbia Broadcasting Co. stations. The concert is made up of a varied assortment of classical selec- tions, ranging from “The Scarf Dance” of Chaminade to Nevin's “Mighty Lak’ & Rose.” Vee Lawnhurst, “blues” singer, and Frank Crumit, popular radio enter- tainer, will join with Don Werges' Or- chestra in presenting the Van Heusen program. Bradford Browne and Al Liewelyn, exponents of original non- sense, will contribute to the La Palina rogram. There also will be selections y an orchestra and a vocal chorus. Dance Music Feature. Dance music, with quartet and solo interludes, will be presented by Freddie Rich's Roustabouts. Chick Ednow, the singing comedian, will be featured in several of the solos. “Radio Joe and His Budget Boys” will be heard over WMAL at 7 o'clock, half an hour earlier than usual, because of the program changes due to daylight saving in New York. “Radio Joe” has appropriately designated the program “Daylight Saving Night.” Capt. Thomas P. Carroll, a former test pilot, and Mrs. Clifford Atkinson of the American Red Cross will speak tonight over WOL. The station’s musi- cal features include a dinner concert and a dance program by CUff Dyer's Paragons. A talk by Representative L. L. Patter- son of Alabama is sandwiched between the musical presentations tonight of ‘WJSV. The station also has scheduled another organized citizenship program, to be presented by the Mount Pleasant Citizens' Association. MUTILATED BODY OF WOMAN DUG UP Husband and Adopted Girl, Mi ing Since Easter, Are Sought. By the Associated Press. SEATTLE, April 30.—Finding of the mutilated body of Mrs. Elizabeth Au- drey Lindsay, 50, buried in the garden of her former home here, yesterday re- sulted in an intensified search for her husband, Frank, 46 years old, who dis- appeared several weeks ago in com- pany with his adopted daughter, Pearl, 12 years old. The woman had been missing since February 19. Lindsay, maintaining that she had deserted him, had given away her jewelry and other jons to another of his adopted daughters and the girl’s mother, who lives here. is girl, I‘elen McCumber, 11, re- ported Lindsay and Pear] as missing the day after Easter. The discovery of the woman’s body suddenly presented an appalling angle to the case yesterday. Blood marks in one of the vacant rooms led them to make a search of the Ppremises. When the Graf Zeppelin leaves home shores next month for her triangular flight from Germany to Brazil, and thence to the United States, she will depend upon American naval radio to plot her c~rse over most of the route. On this rourth transoceanic venture of the giant air liner, comprehensive arrangements have been made with the Navy to supply her with weather infor- mation and position reports, and to handle official and emergency messages. On each of the previous flights, naval radio served as the Graf’s eyes and ears when the airship was destined for the United States or was leaving it. Eckener’ Outlines Plans. Dr. Hugo Eckener, skipper of the dirigible, has worked out the tentative arrangements for the naval contacts with officers of the Navy. Detailed in- structions to the naval service covering these arrangements now are made avail- able by the Navy Department. The Graf is scheduled to leave her base at Friedrichshafen, May 18. Her first stop will be at Seville, Spain, for mail. Then she will make her trans- oceanic hop to Pernambuco, Brazil, stopping there only if she needs fuel, or if weather or other conditions neces- sitate. She then will proceed to Rio de Janeiro, making a ground landing, and staying only a short time, since no mooring mast is there. From Rio she will return to Pernambuco, where she will tle up to the mooring mast there for at least 36 hours to refuel and provision. Leaving Pernambuco, the dirigible will fly directly north to Lakehurst, N. J., the naval lighter-then-air base, where she will refuel in the shortest racticable time, and then return to her ome base at Friedrichshafen. ‘Washington Central Program. ‘The Navy does not plan to handle communications on the Germany-Brazil leg of the flight. Radio central, at Washington, however, will listen over the entire route. ‘The naval station at Balboa, Canal Zone, will establish communication as s00n as practicable after the departure of the Graf from Pernambuco on its way to Lakehurst, and continue to handle communications until she is picked up by radio central in Washing- ton. Once Washington picks her up six ‘schedules will be held with her— at 1 am, 5am, 9am, 1 pm, 5 pm. and 9 pm. All these contacts will be on high frequencies, with two-way com- munication maintained. The Graf, since her last voyage, in August, has had her radio equipment modernized. She carries one 140-watt transmitter, for both radio-telegraph and telephone operations, capable of transmitting upon both high and inter- mediate frequencies. She also has a 40-watter emergency set.
