CLEVELAND, April 26 —Definite im- provement in the business situation is seen by the Union Trust Co., Cleve- land. In its current survey of trade the bank reports increases in auto- mobile production, in building, together with some indicated improvement in employment and retail trade. Further gains are forecasted as the season ad- vances. On the other hand, the bank points out that actual records for the first quarter of the year indicate not only the substantial nature of the depres- sion through which the country has been passing, but show that its effects have as yet by no means been over- come.
