It reached a new high record by passing its previous mark of 113%, but failed % carry along with it Amerxclu Superpower, American & Pox:ign Power and some of the other leaders. United Light & Power A bettered its {fi'evlous ak, as did Cleveland Electric lumina Commonwealth Edison and Amencan Light & Traction then pointed higher. Cities Service in the forenoon slipped fractionally as Gulf Oil of Pennsylvania and Cosden Oil were progressing. The low-priced Mexico-Ohio Oil, subsidiary of Ohio Oll, reacted Xollowlng ‘Texas advices denying the bringing in of & big well, as previously reported, and adding that a new well was drilling be- low 4, 000 feet. 2y HE EVENING STAR, WASHINGTON, D.
