Recently Judge De Lacy was, appionted vice chairman of a newly or- ganized committe for the study of home service relief cases. He also was a member of a previous committee, which did good work in the home service field until its functions were absorbed after a reorganization. The new committee serves in an ad- visory ecapacity, discussing problems of general policy and giving advice on spe- cific_cases to Miss Bessie Craney, in charge of home service work for the chapter.
