WILBUR ADDRESS 15 FORUM FEATURE Interior Secretary Viill Tell of Problems Confronting His Department. WMAL's principal musical presenta- tions will come during the periods oc- cupied by the grand opera concert, Mmhatun Moods, and “In a Russian Village.” The Manhattan program will honor George M. Cohan. It contains a group of songs that made him famous. Among them are “Give My Regards to Broadway,” Good-by Flo,” It's a Grand Old Flag,” and “Yankee Doodle Boy.” Helen Nuxent, contralto, will sing the vocal numbers, assisted by the Co- lumbia Symphony Orchestr: Peter Biljo's Balalaika Orchestra, the Vil- lagers; quartet and Mme. Valentinova, will present the Russian program. The only dramatic presentation scheduled by WMAL will be the weekly ‘True Detective Mystery sketch. It will be based on the story “Whoopsie Girl,” 'flmn by Felix B. DeMartini, formerly of the homicide squad of the New York Police Department. ‘Two outstanding ical attractions are scheduled tonight by WRC and other National Broadcatsing Co. sta- tions. The first will come during the weekly R. C. A. Victor hour, in which Mme. Amelita’ Galli-Curci, internation- ally famous soprano, is to be the guest soloist. PHOENIX, Ariz, February 6.—Dave Garcia escaped from the Mesa, Ariz., jail but as a result of an inf with Gov. John C. Phillips he was back be- hind the bars yesterday, having re- turned in the chief executive’s auto- ‘mobile. Garcia, a minor, was arrested on & bad check charge. The governor said the boy came to him and asked his ad- vice about going to California and he advised that he return to jail.
