U. celebrating the enth anniversary of the adoption of he eighteenth amendment to be held {tomorrow night at Meridian Mansions $Both will discuss the progress of the ftemperance movement during the past 10_years. *__Mrs. N. M. Pollock, president of the District W. C. T. U, will preside and, together with the honor guests and other officials of the organization, will hold a reception preceding the dinner, which is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Solos will be sung by Mrs. Ruby Stahl and Floyd Willilams as a part of the after-dinner entertainment. Mrs. Margaret Wright Schulz will give sev- eral readings. Among the 250 guests expected to at- tend are the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury and Mrs. Seymour Lowman, Walter H. Newton, secretary to the President, and Mrs. Newton; Senator and Mrs. Robsion of Kentucky and two vice presidents of the W. C. T. U. of Japan, Mrs. Truma Gaustlett, senior vice president, and Miss Uti Higashi, :‘k:e president’ of the junior organiza- jon. Mrs. Charles P. Grandfield is the gen- eral chairman for the banquet. Bischoff, pastor of the Church of the Nativity, who died January 3, has been filed for probate. He leaves $1,000 to Michael J. Curley, Archbishop of Baltimore, for the education of students for the priest- hood. Bequests of $300 each are made to St. Ann’s Infant Asylum, Little Sis- ters of the Poor and the Society for the Propagation of the Faith; $200 each to 8t. Joseph's Home and School, St. Vin- cent's Orphan Asylum, St. Rose Tech- nical School and the House of the Good Shepherd. His assistant, Rev. Benedict J. Han- nemann, is given $300 for himself and an additional $100 for masses. Father Felix of Capuchian College is to have » the housekeeper, is remembered with $100 and Charles Pinkney, the janitor, with $50. Bequests of $300 each are made to Pauline Bischoff, a sister-in-law; Ger- trude Bischoff, a niece, and Raymond Bischoff, a nephew. Frank Bischoff, an- other nephew, whose address is un- known, is left $25. The remaining es- tate goes to the two sisters of the tes- tator, Elizabeth and Mary Bishop. Percy C.
