Kraflt, president of the Life Under- writers Association of the District of Columbia, and by District Compnissioner Sidney F. Taliaferro. The convention will be called to order by Paul F. Clark, president of the National Association of Life Underwriters, and invocation will be delivered by Rev. W. Coleman Nevils, S. J., president of Georgetown University. The nominating committee will be appointed at the morning session Wed- nesday and at noon the delegates will visit the White House. Va,, September 21.— ‘Theodore Hinkle, young school teacher of this county, was seriously injured yesterday when the automobile he was driving left the State road on a turn and plunged over the bank, turning over three times. He was found help- less, thrown from the car. Mason ‘Thompson, with him in the car, was pinned under the frame, also unable to extricate himself. Hinkle’s injuries were found serious, but are not thought likely to prove fatal. He and Thompson were return- ing from visiting the former’s brother in a Harrisonburg (Va.) hospital.
