Co-ordination of the Red Cross relief program in the Southeastern flood dis- triet with administration of the Federal seed, feed and fertilizer loan fund of $6,000,000 was announced yesterday after a conference between officials of the two organizations and Senator Hef- lin and Dr. Bradford Knapp, president of the Alabama Polytechnic Institute. It was believed that through this co- operation quicker rehabilitation of the farmers would be possible. The Alabama officials expressed the desire that the farmers be provided with the necessary farming implements and work stock, so as to be able to make best use of the Government loan fund, which does not include provision for this equipment, and H.
