The furnishings of the Colonial man- gion is under the supervision of Charles ©O. Cornelius, associate curator of deco- rative arts at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and an authority on early American furniture. Mrs. Robert N. Washington, according to _records, spent much of his time at Kenmore and took a deep interest in the land- scape gardening of his sister's home.
