License fees under the bill are set at $15 a year, and if a real estate firm has more than one office, an additional fee of $1 a year shall be imposed for each branch. Would Publish List. Causes for which licenses might be revoked by bill include: “Making any substantial misrepre- sentation; making any false promise of a character likely to influence, persuade or induce; pursuing a continued and flagrant course of misrepresentation, or making false promises through sales- men or advertising; acting for more than one party in any transaction with- out the knowledge of all parties to it; accepting a commission from any one except his employer, who must be a licensed real estate broker; failing to account within a reasonable time for eny money coming into his possession which belongs to others, and paying commission to any person for services performed in violation of the act.” Another provision is that the com- mission must publish once a year a list of all persons it has licensed as brokers and salesmen and a list of all those whose licenses have been revoked. 1t is provided that any person violat- ing the act would be subject to a fine of not more than $500, or imprison- ment for not more than six months, 2nd if the violator is a corporation the fine would be $1,000.
