By the Associated Press. out of court of the five-year-old suit in which the Princess Elaine Lippe-Lipski accused her sister, Mrs. Gertrude Schroeder, of alienating the affections of her husband, Prince Nicholas Lippe- Lipski, was announced today by Mrs. Schroeder’s attorney, Grace Humiston. The princess also withdrew two motions for a new trial in the divorce suit which named her sister as corespondent and the estate of her mother, Mrs. Lydia A. Stoever, the lawyer said. A prepared statement was signed by respective attorneys. Mrs. did not make public the terms of the settlement, but said the accord except- \ed any admission of the verity of the charges on which the suits were based. Mrs. Schroeder, five years ago this month, lost by default a $100,000 ver- dict to her sister on a charge of aliena- tion, but later succeeded in having the case reopened. A certified check in settlement of her interest in the Stoever estate will be mailed to the princess | Monday, Mrs. Humiston said. “TIRED OF COURT BRAWLING.” Princess Indicated Settlement of Suit Several Weeks Ago. The Princess Elaine von de Lippe- Lipski, who has been making her home in Washington at 1615 Twenty-first street, recently has moved from that address and could not be located last night. She stated several weeks ago, how- ever, that a settlement was about to be made in the litigation with her sister and expressed herself as “tired of the court brawling” in which she and her sister have been engaged for the past five years. She recently has had pat- ented in her name three inventions, one an automatic automobile headlight, an- other a self-refrigerating barrel and the third an advertising light outfit. She stated several weeks ago that she was working on a health-ray machine. MEXICAN PARTY TO MEET. Convention Set for March to For- mulate Platform.
