2 * PLANS NEW CHURCH) [x=opose stxru pressvrsmian cuumcn] O T6TH STREET [ Sixth Presbyterian Awards Contract for Edifice Adjoin- ing Present Chapel. The main part of the Sixth Presby- terian Church soon will be erected at the southeast corner of Sixteenth and Kennedy streets. The board of trustees this week signed a contract for the erection of the edifice to be joined with the chapel on the Kennedy street side, which was erected in 1916. Since the year named the church services have been held in that building. Upon completion of the main structure the chapel will be used for Sunday school purposes. The architect of the new huilding is Joseph _Younger of this city, and James E. Parsons, jr., is the builder. ‘The new building will cost about $90,- 000, which, with the older section, will represent a valuation of about $230.000. The main auditorium will have a seating capacity of 350, which will be g:llly increased by the gallery and Dr. Lewis J. Battle is chairman of the board of trustees and Rev. Godtrey Chobot is the pastor. Ground will be broken in the near future. MEMORIAL SERVICES. Tribute Will Be Paid to Late Bishop Tomorrow. Memorial ser}g,ces for the late bishop, Right Rev.
