HE President and Mrs. Coolidge will give a reception at 9 o'clock this evening in the Executive Mansion in honor of the diplo- matic corps. Miss Peelle Bride Of Mr. Nolan This Afternoon. ‘The marriage of Miss Ellen Peelle, daughter of Mr, and Mrs.- Stanton C. Peelle, to Mr, James Parker Nolan will take place at 4 o'clock this afternoon, in the home of the bride’s parents at 5900 Connecticut avenue, Chevy Chase, Md, Father Gaynor officiating. The home has an effective arrangement of pink and white chrysanthemums and an orchestra will play the wedding music and for the reception, which will follow. The ceremony will be witnessed by only the immediate families and a few close friends-and the reception will be small and informal. ‘The bride will be given in marriage by her father and will wear a gown of cream satin fashioned with a fitted bodice with a yoke effect at the front | of rare old lace and long sleeves which go into a point over the wrist. The skirt is shorter at the front and goes into a long train at the back. Her tulle veil will be arranged softly about her face and held by a band of old lace and clusters of. orange blossoms and 'she will carry a shower bouquet of gardenias and lilies of the valley. iss Betty Peelle will be maid of honor for her sister, wearing a dainty frock of green chiffon fashioned along softly draped lines and carrying an arm bouguet of pink roses. Mrs. Peelle, mother of the bride, will wear a green lace gown. Mr. Nolan and his bride will leave after the reception for a wedding trip, the bride’s going-away costume a three-piece suit of Autumn green fabric with accessories to correspond.
