Nothing of this kind that has ever been done in this vicinity has aroused a higher degree of interest. ‘In addition to the thousands of women who have entered letters in the hope of winning one of the prizes for themselves as individuals, numerous members of churches, clubs and societies are com- peting in the hope of being able to make a substantial contribution to their church or organization treasuries.
