Frank Dane, former president of the ional Capital Sporting Club, onvicted of promoting fistic encount- rs in the District of Columbia, at the old Arcade in January, 1926, was re- turned from San Juan, Porto Rico, vesterday in the custody of Asistant U. S. Marshal John J. Clarkson and Assistant U. S. Attorney William H. Collins, then taken before the District Supreme Court today and committed to jail to hegin the service of his sen- tence of 3 years imprisonment. Dane will probably be sent to Lorton to serve his sentence, While his applcation for review was pending in the United States Su- preme Court, Dane went to San Juan, where he in charge of bouts pre- sented the ‘When the highest court declined to interfere with the sentence officials were sent to Porto Rico to bring Dane to Washington.
