CHICAGO, September 1.—The last three months, June, July and August, were the coolest Summer months in Chicago for 12 years, Henry J. Cox, senior meteorologist of the Weather Bureau here, reported yesterday. The average daily temperature for the past three months, he reports, was 2.7 degrées below normal. The record was set in 1915, when the mer- cury failed to measure up to its aver- age by 4.8 degrees here. August of this year was the second eoldest in the history of the bureau, showing a ‘dally depreciation from normal of 4.9 degrees. The warmest day in the three months was July 25, || when it was 95 degrees above. He received the degree of bachelor of law from the Harvard Law 8chool in 1916. He was editor of the Harvard Law Review. During the war Mr Henderson was a member of the legal staff of the Shipping Board and in May, 1921, be- came general counsel of the War Fi- nance Corporation, in which capacity he served four years. From this post he resigned to enter the practice of law in New York City. Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife and three children. Mrs, Hen- derson is the daughter of Prof. F.
