J, February 17.— A Dbitter struggle which 1or more thun a year wrought havoc in the textile industry of this district was virtually ended vesterday when work- ers of the New Jersey worsted mills of thig city and of the Gera mills, of Garfield accepted the concessions granted by both plants. Of the number that walked out on January 25, 1926, 1,109 workers re- mained and these voted acceptance of the terms, 1,064 to 45. The mills promised to re-employ the workers as rapidly as conditions will permit with- out discrimination because of their membership in any union organiza- tions.
