Bratenahl, dean of the cathedral, in behalf of Right Rev. James I. Freeman, Bishop of Wash- ington The appointments are: Rev. Ed& ward Slater Dunlap, newly appointed canon of the cathedral, as field secre- tary of the National Cathedral Asso- ciation; Rev. Robert Lee Lewls, cura- tor of Washington Cathedral, and Ed win N. Juhan, then rector of Christ Church of Greenville, . C., now Bishop of Florida. He is a member of the Ma- sbnic fraternity, the Eastern Star, the Rotary Club, ‘Beta Theta Pi and other fraternities. E. ., where he served with the 308th In. fantry of the 77th Division in the battalion commanded by the late Col. Charles W. Whittlesley, one of his closest comrades. He was promoted in the field to captain and adjutant of his regiment and is now a major in the Infantry section of the United States Army Reserve Corps. He w cited in general orders for gallantry under fire during an engagement on the River Vesle, where he helped carry a wounded man to shelter. Active Episcopal Church Worker.
