Harry 8. New, Postmaster General, has flled in the District Court of Appeals-a brief in support of his appeal from the action of the Su- preme Court granting an injunction to the Tribond Sales Corporation of New York to prevent the issuance of . a fraud order. The corporation is en- gaged in the sale of hoslery through contracts containing coupons which when sold and remittances received from the coupon purchasers entitle the contract purchaser to $10 worth of hosiery at a cost of only $1. The postal officials issued a rule on the company to show cause why it should not be refused the use of the mails in conducting its business and advertisements. The company sought an injunction, and the lower court de- clared it could not see anything illegal in the matter and expressed the view that the department was acting arbi- trarily in designating the scheme as a fraud.
