Red Cross Exhibit. The American Red Cross will have among its exhibits four miniature theaters in which they will demon- Strate nutrition work. particularly as #pplied to the home and children. Health work in schools and for the benefit of school children and general Red Cross work will be demonstrated from time to time by representatives ©f this organization. Hand-painted panels, demonstrating Red Cross, and some of the problems they have to face and solve, will also be part of the exhibit. The Visiting Nurses’ Soclety of the District of Columbia will also demon- Strate its work among the citizens of ‘Washington. It will show what steps 1t takes toward teaching mothers the proper care and methods of handling children, the service they render to the community when visiting the homes of the sick in the National Capital and In general all a visiting nurse is expected to do and what her contribution to the alleviation of the suffering is. Display by Public Library. The Public Library will have on display a series of books and maga- eines dealing with every phase of home bullding, housckeeping, garden- ing, financing and real estate. The model bungalow which is to, be one of the outstanding features of the Better Homes Exposition will be ready for the opening Monday evening. This residence has been designed by James E. Cooper, local architect, and is be- ing constructed by the DeSibour Con- struction Co. The house is 35x26 feet in size and of Spanish architecture. It will con- tain two bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, kitchen, patio, breakfast room, etc., of the usual size in a house of this type. The residence will be fully equipped and furnished, and will stand as a model for those who are interested in better landscaping, better furnishing and better construction. Workmen have been engaged for almost a week in constructing this bungalow, which will be complete in every detail, with the exception of a basement. $6,500 BATHROOM BUILT Exhibit at Better Homeés Exposi- tion to Show Progress.
