BIBLE GROUP ARRANGES FOR RECORD MEETING Adult Classes of District Will Gather Friday at Metropolitan Baptist Church. The men of Anacostia parish have heen requested by their rector, Rev. Luther B. Franck, to essemble in Emmanuel Church this evening for the purpose of forming a men's club or other organization for parish work. A number of members of the Laymen's Service Assoclation of the diocese of Washington will be on hand to urge the advantages of their association, Rev. The East Capitol Street Branch of the Second Baptist Church, located at Seventeenth and East Capitol streets, will be dedicataed tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. The building was erect- ed by the Baptist Church congrega- tion for extension work purposes. Rev. Ellis C. Primm is pastor of the church, The lot on which the building stands was purchased a year and g half ago, a early this r a movement to erect a temporary building was start- ed. Much of the labor on the building has been contributed by members and friends of the congregation, and lib- contributions of materfal and money have come to the aid of the en- terprise. The result is a building large enough to care for a good sized Sunday school. Series of Sermons Concordia Lutheran Evangelical Church, Twentieth and G streets, will observe the elghty-sixth anniversary of the founding of the Evangelical Synod of North America tomorrow. This synod, a union church of Lutheran and Reformed people, was organized, at Gravois, Mo., October 15, 1840. From a small group of six clerymen with their congregations it has grown to be a church of 1,115 pastors, serving 1,307 congregations with a communicant membership of 332,000, and with mission flelds in India and Honduras. In the morning services, both Ger- man and English, the pastor, Rev.
