The sena- | torial primaries in Wisconsin take plece September 7. | The determination of Senator Len- Toot to seek re-election means a bitter fight in the Badger State. The pro- gressive or La Follette wing of the | party will put Gov. Blaine in the field as its candidate for the Republican nomination for the Senate. Senator Lenroot's announcement ®ets at rest recent reports that he would not be a candidate tc himself, but planned to enter a York law firm. Senator Lenroot led the administra tion’s fight on the floor of the Senate for the ratification of the protocol for American adherence to the World Court. Since then he has visited ‘Wisconsin once or twice, making speeches there in support of the court proposal.
