CHICAGO, March 4.—General sell- ing found support lacking for wheat prices in the early dealings today, {and sharp declines resulted. Weak- ness of quotations at Liverpool was largely responsible for the selling here, although the action of the Liver- pool market was attributed largely to nervousness over yesterday’s stock market decline in New York. The opening, 1% to 31 cents lower, May (new) 1.56% to 1.567% and July 1.38 to 1.38%, was followed by a moderate recovery and then by downturns lower than before. Panhandle pf. .. Park Utah (80c).
