A new method for killing mosqui- toes and preventing their breeding has just been tried out by Percy Viosca, jr.. entomologist of the city board of health of New Orleans and proved 100 per cent effective. The process is spraying stagnant pools with a dust preparation in which arsenic or other poison has been mixed.
