DENIES CUARANTE INWOOD FUNDNOTE Sprague Says He Signed Only as Agent of Bank Which Loaned Money. By the Associated Press. CHICAGO, September 30—Col. A. A. Procter, who actually ran the campaign, but these were ruled out. Handwriting_experts testified that they believed Col. Sprague had signed the notes before the bank's stamp was affixed.
