The Federal Government has renew- ed its request that several State pris- ons help take care of additional Fed- eral prisoners. Some of the State authorities have been slow in responding to the previ- ous request, and altogether the result of the move has been disappointing to the Department of Justice. Like the Federal prisons, fmany State penal institutions have been found over- crowded. A prison inspector will leave here soon for Texas to study conditions at the State penitentiary at Huntsville, whose warden has agreed to take over some of the Federal prisoners. PARIS, July 9 P).—A divorce has been granted to Reginald Ford, de- scribed as an Englishman living in Paris, and having a business at 584 Fifth avenue, New York City. His wife was Mirlam Marie Rolletti of California, and they were married in New York in 1919, according to papers filed in the case. _NEW YORK, July 9 (#).—Reginald TFord, who today obtained a divorce in Paris from Miriam Marie Rolletti Ford, visited Amer in 1919 to ar- range for construction of a bridge across the Danube for the Rumanian government.
