Charges that Senator Ernst of Kentucky, chairman of the subcom- mittes of the Senate judiclary com- mittee, has refused the proponents of the equal rights amendment a date for hearing was contained in a state- ment given out today by Miss Maud Younger, legislative chairman of the National' Women's Party.
