WORK OF CHILDREN EXHIBITED AT SCHOOL Demonstration Shows Results of Experiment in Project Method of Teaching. With a view to showing the results aecruing from the wise use of the project method of teachers, the classes of the experimental center of the Mott School held their first dem- onstration of classroom activities Wednesday and Thursday. A similar exhibition is planned at the close of the current scholastic year. The courses of study for the kin- @ergarten and the B grades (1-8, in- wusive) have heen organiged on a wratect basis. each class functioning #% a “socialized” unit. The culmina- tion of the activities thus chosen by wach grade was demonstrated. Every feature of this production was the result of the child's effort, guided by the classroom teacher, the resident special teachers and interested par- ents and friends. The 5-B grade room was converted into a veritable Japanese garden, where the visitors gnined valuable information about t Land of Cher- ry Blossoms.” Rice cakes were souvenirs.
