THE EVENING STAR, WASHINGTON, D. C., FRIDAY, APRIL 13, 1923 Woodwarh & Lothrop The Young People’s Floor (The Fourth) The Cloche and Thefl Capeline Two Favored Modes in Hats *18.50 ‘A gratifying collec- tion, indeed, from which to choose one’s Spring hat —and especially at this nominal price. Paris’ favorites—the cloche and the capeline are distinc- tively represented here in these two hats illus- trated. The adorable cloche of Paris is shown in orchid milan, its brim bound in flower petals, while a large flower is worn at one side, while the capeline hat is of shaded purple Bangkok straw, with a dashing bow of purple and orchid moire ribbon. These two types of hats suit the two types of costumes now worn—the slim- silhouetted chemise or draped costume to accompany the cloche—and the longer, fuller skirted frock, to be worn with the capeline. But there are vari- ations of these types for every type of woman. Millinery Section, Third ficor. The Line of a Woman’s Back Is One of the Loveliest of Her Figure If Her Corset is Dependable So often that beautiful line is marred by wearing the wrong corset. The Modart has two features particularly in its favor in this respect.
