Her tulle veil was held by a bandeau of pearls, and she carried a shower bouquet of bride roses and liles of the valley. Mrs. W. S. Duvall. sister of the bride, was matron of honor and wore orchid georgette crepe veiled in lace, with a plcture hat to match, and a corsage bouquet of orchids. The bridesmaids were Miss Roma R. Rice, sister of the bride. and Miss Gail Nelson, and they wore gold lace over peach-colored geogrette crepe. and picture hats to match. They carried staffs surmounted with bouquets tled with gauze ribbon to match their gowns. The flower girl was little Miss Mildred Wenlg. who was dressed in white net and carried a basket of pink roses. Mr. James T. Barker of Baltimore “0 Promise Me," and Mrs. Harry K. Burtner played the wedding march. The bride wore a gown of white georgette crepe trimmed with white beads, and a short tulle veil, with a coronet of orange blossoms, and car- ried bride roses. Miss Anna S. Willis atignded the bride as maid of honor and wore a gown of sunburst chiffon, made with a full skirt and draped on each side. She wore a picture hat to match and carried Ophelia roses. Mr. John H. Rush was the best man and the ushers were Mr. Frederick T. Owen, brother of the bride, and Mr. Edwin S. Crisp. ‘The bridal couple were assisted at the reception, which followed at the home of the bride’s mother, by Mrs. Owen, who wore a black canton crepe gown with a hat to match. Mr. and Mrs. Mewer left later in the evening for a wedding trip to Maine. to visit the bridegroom’s parents, the bride wearing a goewn of blue canton crepe with a hat to match.
