Steele has filed suit in the District Eupreme Court for lim- ited divorce from George M. Steele, jr. a railroad fireman, alleging cruelty. The wife, through Attorneys Down- ing and Purcell, states that since the birth of her first child her husband had treated her cruelly, and now that she is about to become a mother a third time she fears that she may be subjected to other acts of cruelty. It is also set forth in the petition that the husband threatened to leave the city if his wife instituted court pro- ! ceedings.
