INVISIBLE COLOR BOOK e THE BISON OMMONLY known as the Buffalo, lived 4n great numbers years ago on the westeln plains. We all know the name “Buffalo Bill” in our histories. The Buffalo suffered at the hands of the many hunters, who killed them in large numbers, until they were nearly all done away with. Today they are protected and kept in small herds in zoos and parks. Out of millions there are only a few thousand left, ’l‘hey used to live in big herds, wandering at will over the country. It is known that they would travel a great distance for water in case ’ of drought. 'Here we see this big fellow at the water hole, where he has come to drink. . .
