Several important-dinners will preface things at the White House, where Mrs. Harding’s skill and grace as a hostess will be en- joyed chiefly by official society. Later a more general social program will be given embracing, it is hoped, the much discussed garden parties. The President and Mrs. Harding will have a group of friends with them on the south front portico to witness the sight of thousands of children massed there, done up in their prettiest dresses and hats and carrying the gayest of baskets fified with egges of varied hue. It is hoped the President and Mrs. Harding and perhaps their guests will mingle with the crowd for a little while, as the President andgs. Roosevelt and ealier President’s did.
