Mr. Platt has Jong occupied rooms at the Shoreham, at Wash- ington, where Mr. Coit and his family bave lived during the past three years. The Ooite up to that time bad resided in Hartford, Conn, The bride was one of four daughters, the other children being two sons. Mr. and Mbs. Platt will live in Washington. Norwood, the place selected for the ceremony, is the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs. Henry M. Ladd, with whom she spent the past summer. Rev. Mr. Ladd officiated. It was not until the past week that ex-Nenator Platt was informed by his son of the affair. F.'Craven and Martin McNamara, a eee THE COURTS IN SESSION, —_— ANACOSTIA, Quite a Heavy Docket in All—The Court The several courts of the District will all be in session this week, the General Term conven- ing its October term today, and the Circuit and Criminal for jury trials tomorrow, while the Equity has been at work since the first Tuesday in September. The calendars are quite heavy, as is usually the case after the summer recess. ‘That of the General Term has a total of 260 cases, among the most important of which is the second appeal in the case of W.
