Paar CASPER DEALERS oh MEET IN JANUARY TO SET SHOW DATES SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20, 1925 One Hundred Per Cent Co-operation Assured from Local Trade as Result of Many New Features to Be Exploited By SPARK PLUG Joe EB. Mansfield, president of the Casper Automotive Dealers’ associa- tion, announced last Thursday that he is already taking steps to call a meeting of the iocal motor car deal- ers for the first week in January at one of the local hotels for the pur- pose of planning and setting a defi- nite date for the 1926 automobile show. Indications are that dealers will be 100 per cent in attendance and some interesting opinions upon the advisability of an early show should be forthcoming. The major- {ty of the auto dealers of. this city agree than an earlier show will make for greater stimulation of business during at least three of the duller months of motordom, and also argue that the national tendency is for earlier displays of 1926 models. It is now fairly certaln that the annual Denver show will be held some time in the latter part of Jan- uary or early February. If this fs the case the Casper date will prob- ably be set for the week following at the meeting of the local dealers. As the Tribune has always done in the past, the new and combined ‘Tribtne-Herald will appear on the Sunday immediately before the open- ing of the show with a mammoth ‘automobile show edition depicting with picture, story and advertise- ment, just what the people of Cas- per may expect to find at thelr an- nual motor exhibit. At the January meeting of the local dealers’ association, show com- mittees will be appointed by Prest- dent Mansfield, and the work will get under way immediately after- ward. Efforts will be made to bring the finest sort of entertainment to Casper for the occasion. Many of those who provide the merriment for the Denver show will probably ap- pear in Casper {immediately after- ward. As the greater number of automo- bile manufacturers are speedily get- ting away from the yearly model idea, this year’s show will probably not be filled with new ané startling revelations in the motor car world. but will be an attractive display of the regular models of the standard makes of cara, with whatever new cars may be making thelr initial bow at that time. The thousand dollar six class will be in the great majority at this year’s shows, as they outnumber their bro- thers of the other divisions by bet- ter than two to one. Your new cars in particular, all of them manufac- tured by good’ reliable companies of long standing in the industry will probably hold the center of the floor in all parts of the country this year. 145 P. Again he attributes much of the success of his expedition to the astounding performance of his five Dodge Brothers Motor Cars. Following is a direct quotation from an official statement by Dr. Andrews upon his return te America: The Gobi Desert in Mongolia is the most extensive undeveloped and unexplored re- gion now left in the world. Until a few years ago it was retarded by the impossibly slow traffic of camel trains, the only means of communication, But now it is being crisscrossed in every direction by motor cars, or, more correctly by one motor car, the Dodge.
