The local station will change its wave length from 1,200 kilocycles or 249.9 meters to 550 kilocycles or 545.1 meters. Managers will at- tempt to make this change Nov. 11 without omitting a program. The local station will use 500 watts for both night and day service, accord- ing to officials. In the past it has ‘used 2650 watts for day broadcast- ing and 500 at night.
