Jerome Kern is the composer concerned; the book is by Anne Caldwell and Hugh Ford and the lyrics by Miss Caldwell. In the cast are Joseph Cawthorn, the Astaires, Ray Dooley, Grace Hayes, the Six Brown Brothers, Delano Dell and others. TO OFFER LIGHT OPERAS. An opera comique company, which ‘will present such works as “The Chimes of* Normandy,” “Mistress Nell,” the Gilbert and Sullivan operas nd “Gtrofle-Girofila,” is being formed by the Messrs. Shubert for a season of matinees in New York and Phila- delphia early in 1923. The cast will ‘bo recruited chiefly from those in the companies playing ‘Blossom Time” in the two cities, A NEW PLAY. “At the End of the World,” a new play by Edward Delaney Dunn, will be produced to-morrow night in Stamford by the Messrs, Shubert. It will be sent to Chicago. A FASHION REVUE. Alexander Leftwich is staging a revue called ‘Fashions of 1928." Styles old and new will bo shown, The company will number seventy five and will include many models.
