The success of a play devends icarly as mych on the audience as it does on the players, and this audience and the one on Friday morning, were he best in all the world. Ten o'clock struck. ‘Then it was a quarter after, And then a few more snoments passed by. Why did not the begin? Stephanie Bakos, the little black-eyed page who was to carry the crown on @ crimson cusn- ion, was in tears, And how could the very solemn bishop, Gibson Bouta- well, crown the Queen without crown? The h inting kiddies were al- cost discournged, when Mr. Kelley, the property man, ran to me with the wn in his hands, “Where was it?’ In the safe where we keep all valuables,” answered Mr, Kelley. And where could be found a more natural place for a crown when it is! not being worn, Stephanie dried her eyes, Mr. Edouarde signaled the or- chestra, and the curtain went up.
