Bruns saw a man on the roof of the extension below him and opened fire with his revolver, following him down the ladder, over the roofs and down the scuttle of an adjoining tenement house. ‘Two men rushed out of the tenement house and ran north, One was Radice, whom Muller caught at the doorway of Police Headquarters.
