The detectives are search- ing for a womsen, who was an accom- plice of Albrecht. Henry Brockelman, a stranger, saw an advertisement in a German paper that a German woman wanted a part- ner in a saloon business. Brockelman called at the real estate office of P. J, Bcott, 131 Montgomery street, where he met Albrecht, who introduced him to a woman, giving the name of Mrs. Wil- liams. They took him to a saloon at 310 Folsom street, which, it was repre- sented, was to be sold for $500. After talking the matter over the woman ac- 553 Mission street and Albrecht re- mained outside. Brockelman took off his coat and vest and went into his bedroom to wash his face and hands. The woman took $300 in bills from his coat pocket and fled, Sunday. The police say that Albrecht and his father have been mixed up in many saloon deals, resulting in disaster to the intending purchaser: Giles Otis Pearce, Syndicate Marager.
