Each of the ten pictures in this, the \ TENTH SET in the THIRD SERIES of THE SUNDAY CALL’S great puzzle contests, represents Iy the name of a European city. If you cannot solve the pictures at first glance, just get out the biggest map you can find of Europe and look at all the names of the big cities printed thereon. You will quickly find, therefore, that picture No, 5, which shows a leg of beef hanging from a hook and a small boy blowing a very large horn as its most prominent features, is just what those most prominent features make in conjunction—LEGHORN. You will find it very interesting to discover just where LEGHORN is. 4 Then there is picture No. 3. Can you tell what city is repres:nted by a picture that shows a building on fire and a big, stout man watehing it in consternation? Of course, the big, stout man has nothing whatever to do with the fire. At any rate, he seems to be doing nothing but watch it burn. Ah, there you have the name of the city—BERNE! Picture No. 9 is quite easy. Both the cat and the woman are telling you what it is, even spelling it out for you. It is MUNICH. Now see if you can guess the rest and win a valuable prize. REMEMBER—You may send in as many answers in your name as you wish, provided only that you have a coupon to accompany each answer, and—REMEMBER—there is no age limit and young and old may compete. THE NAMES OF THE LUCKY WINNERS WILL BE PUBLISHED IN THE SUNDAY CALL TWO WEEKS FROM TO-DAY, May 3. And as for the reward, there are TWENTY PRIZES every week, as usual, for the successful ones. You cannot fail to win one of them if you get to work early, send in your answers piomptly und—get them right. Don’t forget that point, because it is very important. ALL ANSWERS MUST REACH THIS OF- FICE BY FRIDAY NOON. This gives all those in the country an equal chance to compete. Read every- thing on this page to be sure that you overlook nothing that will help you to win a prize.
