THE SUNDAY CALL. HIS week marks the publication of the second set in & new series of puzzles in the intensely interest- ing and exciting puzzle contest. The first series was completed on November 2, when the thirteenth set of puzzles appeared. ‘The prize-winners of that set, published on Sunday, November 8, ars announced below. As a further reward of industry and cleverness a special prize of $10 and a second prize of $5 has been award- od for the highest percentage of correct answers in the whole serias of thirteen weeks—the names of these fortunate competitors are also given below. To-day is published the second set of seven puzzles in a new series to run for thirteen weeks. In the left-hand corner of this page you will notice a “portrait puzzle” that must be solved as well as the picture puzzles given below. Itisa very interesting puzzle and simple enough if you are quick, clever and observant. Special directions are given for solving this particular puzzle on another part of this page. Those who solve the puzzles printed to-day will find an announcement of the winners in the issue of The Sunday Call of November 30. Now, here are the important points for you to remember: The First Ten Boys and the First Tem Girls who send in correct solutions to all seven puzzles before midnight next Friday will win & prise. Don’t forget that point, because it is very important. ALL ANSWERS MUST REACH THI. OF- FICE BY FRIDAY NOON. This gives all those in the country an equal chance to compete.
