According to current report the Crocker estate is the purchaser of the northwest corner of Post street and Grant avenue. The sale of the property has been pre- viously mentioned. Baldwin & Howell put the deal through. They decline to give any information concerning the purchaser or intentions entertained concerning the improvement of the corner. It is current that Shreve & Co. will occupy a splendid building that will be placed on the cor- ner. The manager of the jewelry houss declines to afirm or deny the story, which is generally believed. Five pieces of realty have been transferred, which will make a sufficient site for a large struc- ture. The lots are improved and the leases haye some time to run, so that im- mediate changes are not expected to take ace. P tee transactions involving one plece of property were carried through on' Fri- day of the last week as near simulta- neously as possible.
