Stewart settled and was re- leased. —Yesterdsy morning at 10 Albin Stolls, the North Platte man acowsed of swindling M. Toft, was brought up before Judge An- derson for hearing. He pleaded not guilty, but when Mr, Toft was put on the stand he refused to glve any criminating testimony, as the case had been settled. Under the clrcum stances Judge Anderson could do nothing but discharge the prisoner. Deputy Sheriff Crowell, who was present mmediately ro-ar- rested Stollo on & complaint preferred by W, E.
