D. Editor Nonpartisan Leader: Our League meeting at Winfred was well attended. Something like 150 per- sons present. The greater part of them enthusiastic League members — very good crowd for a small town, Quite a, few new members joined the League. W. H. Talmage of Flandreau, S. D., delivered a rousing address in which he showed clearly that the business of politics is the business of the whole people—that it is the duty of the state to use all its securities for the benefit of the whole people of the state and not a privileged few. i There is every indication that this part of the state is following the foot- steps of North Dakota. There is no doubt but that thew will profit by the errors they made in the past and stick to the League for protection. A. E. FOX. OPPOSITION“WILL FAIL Sarles, N. D., March 5. Editor Nonpartisan Leader: The Fifteenth Legislative assembly ' has come to a close.” We can not speak too highly of Lynn Frazier, the farmer governor who has so ably conducted the business of thé legislature through this strenuous campaign and feel as- sured that he has in no way betrayed the trust that the voters of this state have placed upon him. We can rank him as one of the greatest of governors in his untiring energy and devotion to the work of that most important of- fice, which has gained for him the re- spect. and admiration of the entire nation. With regard to the Nonpartisan members, they have done their- work nobly and well. They have not been defeated. The pringiples of the League know no defeat. .. The opposition of our opponents is only temporary, to” be threshed out in the years that are to come. We can not speak too highly of Mr. Townley for the noble work which he has ac- complished in. organizing the farmers and hope to see the day when the Non- partisan League will reign supreme in every state in this Union, acquiring for Jts citizens a progressive and honest administration.
