About eleven o'clock on Wednesday night a young man named Mr, Benjamin H. Willis, who wears bl broadcloth and dyes his mustache and imperial, walked along the sidewalk of Greene street, ncar Bleecker, When he was accosted by a gentleman who was attired in a pepper and salt suit of clothes, and wore astriped shirt collar, with- out ancckcloth. He extended his hand and said, “I know you very well; I have met you before; vow d'ye do? Won't you come and have a drink ?” Mr. Willis did not know him, but HE LISTENED TO THB TEMPTER, They walked together up to Amity street, down which they turned until they came to the Cabinet, Kept by McLean, on the corner of Mercer street.
